When the power of the atom was discovered. science had to devise a way to  smash the atom.

They found the secret of the atoms immeasurable
and limitless power was in it being crushed.

Some of the most Godly people, who were called
up on in the Bible to endure great suffering and pain, could have grown bitter and resentful, yet because they knew Christ and walked in the joy of His presence every day. God blessed them and turned them into people who reflected Christ.

Some say "Suffering and success go together. (If)
you are succeeding with out suffering, it is because others before you have suffered; if you are suffering, with out succeeding, it is that others after you may succeed."

With out a doubt its hard to "Count it all joy" (when)
suffering comes, but Christ say's we can. James 1: 2
When ever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy.

Who do you think of when you think of “disciple”? do you think of wise men and women,  people of great sacrifice, humility, compassion  commitment, – people who picked up their cross and followed Jesus.  The 12 apostles were men of such stature, they were hand-picked by Jesus.

Jesus tells us in  John 8: 31
"If you abide in My word, you are my disciples indeed."

A disciple in Jesus' time was someone who followed a teacher or philosopher, some one who committed his or her life to Christ someone who sought to learn, follow, and share Him with others.

           Does this describe you ?
Unlike the original disciples, we can't physically spend time with Jesus but we can learn from Him by reading His word  and obeying His will for our lives.

You can be a disciple today, if you are willing to pick up your cross and follow Jesus and let Him be your teacher and guide. Remember He said "If you abide in my word, you are My disciples indeed."

Why Am I Not Happy?

How often have you found what you were looking for in life, only to realize it didn't bring you the satisfaction you thought it would?

It is life's ultimate frustration---- thinking we will find fulfillment in the things of this world.
But they can never bring lasting happiness.

For many of us all we want is a little more than we have now.

We look for love, security, and happiness through our jobs, our possessions, our relationships----but if they really brought lasting joy, wouldn't we have testimonies to that effect from millions of people all over the world?

Instead we find emptiness, discontent, and hopelessness.

Many people believe that their happiness depends on their circumstances, or worse, circumstances beyond their control.

"I'll be happy when I lose weight..." "I'll be happy when I find a job..." "I'll be happy once I find someone to love..."

If you aren't happy now, you won't be happy when you get that "thing" you think will make you happy. Happiness lies within you, not within someone or something else.

Romans 15 : 13  says (May the God of hope fill you with all joy.)
When you put Christ first in your life, You will discover that He alone is the source of everlasting security, love, peace, and joy that you have been searching for.

I have searched many many times out side of Christ for these things, and found none of them, what I did find  was  a illusion and counterfeit life.

Who's your prayer partner ?

The spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.

Romans  8: 26

What a comfort these words should be; "The spirit of God helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to  pray about some times , but the spirit Himself intercedes for us. . . in accordance with God's will."

Think about that: Even when we don't know how to pray, the spirit knows our needs, and brings the deepest cries of our heart before the throne of God.

Yes the Holy Spirit pleads for us before God the Father. In ways  we'll never understand this side of

When you don't know how to pray, why not turn to God your true and caring partner , even in those times when you may not feel like it.  The Spirit is always interceding for you, in accordance with God's will.

Knowing The Shepherds Voice

John 10:1-10

King James Version (KJV)

10 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Many people claim to speak for God, Do you know how to recognize which voice is authentic ?

How can you and I know which voice is authentic ? learning to recognize the voice of God is important
Jesus answers that question in the above scripture, Jesus tells us how to recognize the good shepherd and
also how to recognize the false shepherd.

So the next time some one says God told me to tell you something, check it out with the above scripture.
