Your life may seem like it is  monotonous and filled with drudgery and like the strawberry,  takes  a long time, for it to ripen and be useful.
Yet remember, we are not working  for an hour, or a day, or a year, but we are working for eternity, we may grow weary and tired and weak in this life, but ever lasting life, awaits each of us.
You might say, no one has ever come back from the grave, to tell us, if that is so, but we do have a first hand witness, who testifies of such an event, His name is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a livly hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.   1 Peter 1-4
He is alive to tell us of His resurrection and to remind us of its truth, this fact alone should  cause us to persevere, even when life seems monotonous and filled with drudgery.

Starting your day with prayer

Prayer is an essential part of a healthy Christian life.

It isn't enough to get out of bed in the morning, quickly bow our head, and repeat a few sentences.
Instead we need to set aside specific times, to be alone with God, speaking to Him in prayer, and listening to Him, speak through His word.
If we will set aside a special time for prayer, our unconscious mind, will be saturated with the desire to pray.
For the over worked mother, or other busy person, this may seem impossible, but even when we are busy, we can pray.
We can pray anywhere, any time,  and God will hear us, just as omitting essential food from our diet, will make us physically weak, so a lack of prayer, will make us spiritually weak.
Rejoice always,pray without ceasing; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
Keep your spiritual life healthy, pray often and "Without ceasing."

Have you ever been under water for a long period of time?  longer than you expected . If so you know as the time ticks away, how desperate you become to reach the surface and breath some air.

The greater the time you are under water, the more you long  for a breath of air, you long for it so much the desire overwhelms you  and you rush to the surface as fast as possible, you have no other thought, but to quench your need for air.

That's kinda what it means to "long for God" to feel unfulfilled with out Him. It means we know we desperately need Him,  even more than we need air,  we yearn  to be filled with His presence.

The Psalmist say's in Psalm  84; 2  "My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God" as much as  the person under water yearns for the air to breath, we  each yearn to be filled with the fullness of Christ.

Are you yearning for His presence in your life? hungering and thirsting for His righteousness, call Him up ask Him , He will, come in and give you what you have need of.

Young people today are looking for adventure and excitement something to motivate them and give them purpose.

With out purpose greater than themselves, they know they will end up with an empty heart and meaningless lives.

They want something to believe in, that is big enough to satisfy the yearning, of their hearts.

The only thing that comes close to filling that need, is the cause of Jesus Christ,His blood stained body, that was  lifted on the cross of Calvary, for the redemption,of the whole world.

Think of it; The God of the universe invites the young, as well as the old,  to become His partners, in reclaiming the world, for Him.

We can each have a part, using the unique  opportunities, He gives to each of us.

If you are young and seeking purpose for your life, why not become one of His disciples, Christ is always Hiring and the benefits are out of this world.

If anyone serves me, him My Father will honor.      John  12: 26

All around the world people go to church, bow their head to pray and hear sermons.
Our faith is perhaps the most central element in the Christian life, because it is the means by which we enter into salvation.
If you grew up in a Christian home, you probably adopted some of the beliefs of your parents, this kind of foundation is a wonderful gift, to nurture your faith.
Eventually each of us, must assume responsibility for the faith we have developed in your lives.
It is only when we trust the Lord, through the fires of adversity, that we realize if we have faith that can stand.
It is no longer based on what others have told us, but on our first hand experience with His faithfulness.
God wants us all, to become more like His son and receive the ever increasing faith, we need to live our lives pleasing to Him
Are you satisfied spiritually? Or do you have a growing hunger, for more faith, to satisfy God?
