Dysfunctional family
Whenever you read
the story of Joseph, you can’t help but see a “dysfunctional family” blaring at
you like a neon light.
The best summary I think of Joseph’s life is
found in Genesis 50: 20 .
Where Joseph says "You intended to harm
me, but God intended it for good.
To accomplish what is now being done, the
saving of many lives.
Joseph’s brothers hated him and sold him as a
slave.
God intended it. God
allowed these things to happen to Joseph.
God, through Joseph,
saved the entire people born out of Abraham’s seed from famine and the
nation of Egypt as well.
