Just One Request
Dear Master for this coming year
Just one request I bring:
I do not pray for happiness,
Or any earthly thing—
I do not ask to understand
The way Thou leadest me,
But this I ask: Teach me to do
The thing that pleaseth Thee.

I want to know Thy guiding voice,
To walk with Thee each day.
Dear Master make me swift to hear
And ready to obey.
And thus the year I now begin
A happy year will be—
If I am seeking just to do
The thing that pleaseth Thee.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalms 19:1
One doesn't have to look very close at the night sky to be in complete amazement at the wonder of God's creative work.
To see the magnitude of the galaxies the mass of the Milky Way;  we can't help but be reminded of  His creative greatness.
When we look into the heavens it's like He gave each of us a front row seat in his grand arena of great power.
As mighty as all this truly is, its nothing in comparison to the glory He displayed  when He sent His son to earth.
God planted the brightest star in the East to announce His arrival to the world, He called people from different walks of life to come see Jesus;  the lowly shepherds  as well as the wise men.
He's still calling people today to come and meet His son, the next time you marvel at the moon, the stars, the galaxies and the Milky Way keep that thought in mind.

Think of it; The God of the universe came down from Heaven one night in Bethlehem and took human form!   " God was manifested in the flesh"  ( 1 Tim  3: 16 ) That manifestation was in the person of Jesus Christ.
If you have ever wanted to know what God is like, then take a look at Jesus Christ---- because He was God in human flesh.
Its been over two thousand years since this event took place, this birth was like no other in the history of mankind .
To his disciples Jesus said  " You believe in God believe also in me"  ( John  14: 1 )
Amid all the glitter and busyness of the season, don't lose sight of the miracle of that first Christmas in Bethlehem a most incredible truth it is and will be forever.

Holiday advertising,Television specials, our favorite  Christmas carol's on the radio, should all  assure us of a Merry Christmas.
But for many people this will not be the case, some will be homeless, some will be in the hospital with illness's ,still others will be nurturing their hopelessness, from drug and alcohol abuse, and for others marriage will be sadly ending for them, the list could go on.
Christmas should be a time of joy and peace and good will as we all know, but we live in a fallen world, and a less than perfect Christmas does happen, that first Christmas in Bethlehem seemed less than ideal.
Christmas morning for Mary and Joseph was in a stable, and as a new mother Mary perhaps wished it could have been better. But in that stable God chose to celebrated the birth of His son, that others who are having a less than a Merry Christmas, can celebrate it too.
If things are difficult for you this year and nothing seems to be going right. You don't have to wait for peace to come into your life, just kneel at the manger and see, "It is Jesus." Christmas then can take on a whole new meaning for you and can be the Merriest one ever for you. Luke 2: 10-11

We must never for-get what happened to God's people long ago, God guided them by sending a cloud that moved along ahead of them, and He brought them safely thru the waters of the Red Sea.
Miraculously, God sent them food to eat and water to drink, He was there as a mighty spiritual strength, yet after all this, most of them did not obey God, and He destroyed them in the wilderness.
From this lesson we are warned, that we must not desire evil things, as they did. (The scriptures tell us, " The people sat down to eat and drink and then got up to dance" in worship of the golden calf.)   1 Corinthians  10:  1-7
Maybe you think "Oh i would never behave like that." But remember this---the wrong desires can come into your heart at anytime as it did for them.
We must be careful to guard our hearts, you know we can not eat at God's table and at Satan's too.
The choices you make in your life today  can and will  determine your future walk with God as it did with our fore fathers.

Warning signs are everywhere, they alert us to things that are harmful to us, in everyday life.

The Bible list seven such warnings to our spiritual life in   Proverbs 6 : 16
These six things doth the Lord hate: Yea seven are an abomination unto Him.
          *  A proud look.
          *  A lying tongue.
          *  And hands that shed innocent blood.
          *  A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations
          *  Feet that be swift in running to mischeif
          *  A false witness that speaketh lies.
          *  And he that soweth discord among brethern.
This list is not in His word just to take all the fun out of your life as some might think
They are His warnings of love He places in there to keep us spiritually strong and safe.

Help me to heed your instructions, and live my life pleasing to you.

86,400 is quite a large number, isn't it?  Imagine someone giving you that much money.
What might you do with it?  Many of us might pay off our bills. Take a vacation etc.
Certainly one would be blessed if he were able to have that many close friends. Yet we are not speaking of those kinds of things, when we refer to the number 86,400.
What then is it that equals 86,400? Would it be the number of bones in one's body? No, nothing like that, It is the number of seconds in a day.
Yes, each day affords us with 86,400 seconds of time to use as we see fit, time to serve God, time to eat, time to sleep, and everything else we do.
Someone once made the observation of how difficult it would be for someone to spend $86,400 each day, with the stipulation that he could not save it, nor "invest" it, etc.  Because at the end of the day, he would lose any money he had not spent.
This is similar to the gift of 86,400 seconds we have each day, at the end of the day, they are gone forever! We have no roll-overs.
Friends 86,400 seconds is all we have been given for the day. How will we use this precious time? Will it be used in selfish pursuit's, or in Godly efforts?  Let us resolve to stop wasting time and instead make the best use of it. Ephesians 5: 15-17
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

When ever i think of God's faithfulness to me over the years, I think of a dear lady by the name of Corrie Ten Boom, a remarkable Dutch woman.
Corrie was imprisoned in a Ravensbruk  concentration camp, later she traveled the world over telling her story of suffering, forgiveness, and joy.
For thirty-five years of her life, Corrie never had a permanent home, at the age of eighty-five some friends provided her with a lovely home in California, It was a luxury Corrie never dreamed she would have.
One day a movie director friend stopped by to visit with Corrie and while they were talking, he said. " Corrie hasn't God been good to give you, this beautiful house?"
She replied with a firmness in her voice. " My friend God was good when I was in Ravenbruk too!"
Has God been good to you? Why not give him thanks this Thanksgiving for seeing you through the good times as well as the bad ones
             Isaiah 41: 10
Fear not, for I am with you: be not dismayed, for I am your God.

The word "Christian" has come to be used in the religious realm as an attachment to any and everything that is desired of a person.
Today we read of  Christian Ministries,  Christian fellowship, Christian schools, Christian weight -loss centers, Christian dating sites, any activity or end ever that is religious in nature is  identified  as such by calling it a "Christian --------.
Is this how the word is to be used?  What does the word Christian actually mean? For the answer we turn to the Bible to see how it is used there.
Acts: 11:26----And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.
Acts: 26:28----Agrippa said to Paul, In a short time would you persuade me to become a Christian.
1  Peter  4:  16 ----If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
What do these passages reveal about a Christian?  Simply put it means Christ-like.
The term is not to be used  to justify what we desire to offer to God, but properly it defines for us, only the things that Christ exemplified in His life.
A Christian truly is, Christ-like in all aspects of his life. Individually and collectively,  being Christ-like means we are obedient to Him,  as He was to His heavenly father,He kept the commandment His father gave Him, so should we keep them too, thus the matter is determined by God,Not by man.

Who holds me captive? Who causes me to lose my focus?  Who keeps me spinning my wheels instead of moving forward?    I do.
When I mess up,  I choose to do nothing,  or  I choose to ask for forgiveness.
When I say the wrong thing,  I choose to carry that around with me,  or  I choose to make it right.
When I wrong God, I choose to pray to Him and repent,  or  I choose  to allow that to separate me from Him.
When I face a challenge or a decision, I choose to seek Gods will for me,  or  I choose to do it my way.
When I am angry, I choose  to take it out on others,  or  I choose to take it to God and let Him take care of it.
When I am sad, I choose to be sad and depressed,  or  I choose to praise God and dwell on His promises.
When I have been wronged, I choose revenge,  or  I choose to trust God to handle the situation for me.
When I am confused, I choose to talk to everybody but God,  or  I choose to talk to Him first.
When I am lost, I choose to seek direction in this world,  or  I choose to follow the road God has made for me.

There is always a choice,  Who sets me free?  Who gives me life?  Who gives me purpose?  Who helps me move forward?  THAT WOULD BE GOD, BUT THE CHOICES ARE UP TO ME.

The mischievous twins,  envy and jealousy, these two are common guest in many homes today.
The less fortunate envy the wealthy, kids that are not out standing athletes envy those that are, couples that are unable to bear children envy those that can, churches that have only a few members envy those that have many.
There seems to be no end to the modern day list of envy and jealousy.
The Bible declares envy and jealousy are rottenest of the bones. Proverbs 14:30
Envy and jealousy have been around for a long time, one doesn't have to read far into the Bible to find it in peoples lives.
Envy made the top Seven deadly sins in the Bible.
Unchecked it can cause division in our family's,  violence in our lives, even to the point of murder, bitterness toward others, disrupts peace in society, disrupts peace in our homes, disrupts even peace in the church of the living God.
What can we do to avoid envy and jealousy?
First: We can thank God for what we have, rather than dwell on the thought that some one else might have it better.
Second: Be content with what we have.
Third: God tells us not to envy others.
Fourth: We know from Gods word envious people can not inherit Gods kingdom.
These reasons alone ought to inspire us not to be envious.
Satan knows envy and jealousy are barriers to fellowship with God.
Don't let him steal your Joy and Peace; Don't  entertain his two guest in your home. Pledge to be an over comer for Christ today!

The Bible warned the people of Noah's day, they laughed at Noah and mocked the words Noah spoke to them from the Bible and went about their usual lives.
With out ever realizing he might be right.   Gen  6-3  "My spirit shall not strive with man forever."
Eventually God's patience gave out and He allowed the rain to come.
Men and women begged to get aboard the ark, but it was to late.
Soon there was enough water to flood the earth and lift the ark safely up on the waters.
Every soul out side the ark perished , most surely it was a sad time for Noah and his family, because they had done all they could to warn the people.
God is speaking to His people once again. "Get aboard My ark, My ark of salvation" Don't be one to ignore His call as those did in Noah's day, God's greater ark of salvation is ready for boarding.
He is standing ready to welcome you aboard, why wait any longer, get aboard today while the Master is calling, tomorrow could be to late.

Each of us has a conscience, that acts as a judge over our thoughts our words and our deeds.

Our conscience can be distorted depending on how we have used it or abused it.

The main thing that defiles our conscience is sin, the Bible tells us .
The best way to clean it up and keep it clean, is by the purifying work of the Holy Spirit.

Our conscience is important to us, God uses it to warn us of danger and to convince us of things we do wrong.

Is God speaking to your conscience today? About something you may be doing that you know dishonors Christ.

Don't ignore that small still voice and think it doesn't matter.

Keep your conscience clean.      THE BLOOD OF CHRIST WILL CLEANSE OUR CONSCIENCE.     HEBREWS   9: 14

Have you ever ask God the question:   Why are you allowing me or my loved ones to suffer like this?
When we experience difficult times we usually pray to God and ask Him for immediate relief, how ever we all know God answers prayer in His own time.
After suffering awhile we start wondering why God hasn't intervened, we begin questing ourselves, what have I done to deserve this and we even question whether God even cares.
We may even feel God has abandoned us, it is common for us to feel isolated from God, during difficult times.
How ever the Bible assures us God is present even when He seems far away, God is walking right along beside us, God is never late, when it comes to handling our painful situation He is always on time.
Never give up on God, the Bible teaches we are going to suffer many different ways.
When we suffer let us remember always be faithful to God, Gods timing is perfect.
keep your faith and trust in God, if you do you will get through your difficult time.

As you pass this little church, be sure to plan a visit, so when at last you're carried in, God want ask " Who is it?"

Tomorrows forecast; God reigns and the Son shines.

Honk if you love Jesus; text while driving, if you want to meet Him.

Get off Facebook and into my book.

Life with out God is like an un sharpened pencil  -  No point.

Today's  sermon; the danger of gossip.   Today's Hymn; I love to tell the story.

Forbidden fruit creates many jams.

If God seems far away; guess who moved.

Try Jesus if you don't like Him, the devil  will always take you back.

Exodus  4: 2      And the Lord said unto him What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

A simple question what do you have in your hand?  Do you like to, talk, cook, sew, keep things organized, work with your hands,  this could be a clue as to what God is asking you to do for Him.

Who would have thought God could have used a simple shepherds staff that Moses was carrying in his hand, along with his faith to change Moses life for ever and the course of history.

God used that simple wooden staff to deliver the Israelite s from pharaoh, to open up the Red Sea, to bring water from a rock.

Do you ever wonder how God could use you?  No matter how simple it may seem to you, God can supernaturally use whats in your hand to do His work in your life.

Common people just like you and I can be used in His work. What kind of difference can it make in your life?   It changed Moses life for ever.  Do you want it to change yours?  When God ask whats in your hand,  let Him use you and the gift. Remember God has given you the gift, for a reason, let Him use yours the way it pleases Him? And your life like Moses will never be the same again.

Autumn's Descent
by Janet Martin

In dusty blues and rustic hues
Her steps at first descend
Then her hand sweeps all the land
As glorious colors blend
And, as we gaze at autumn's blaze
Which sets the world a-fire
It's like a breath of Heaven on earth
To calm us and inspire

The red and gold that we behold
O'er-takes the green and brown
And each hillside so far and wideIs decked in autumn's gown
The geese that fly across the sky
In spite of autumn's smile
Have felt the call of chilling fall
Within each lofty mile

Man can't use or ever choose
This perfect artistry
Although they've have tried with skillful pride
To paint her pure beauty
For up above a God of love
Is in perfect control
His touch will crown this glorious gown
Which claims all nature's soul

Today there is more knowledge available to us than ever before.   Computers can transmit information in a millisecond to all corners of the world.   More knowledge has been discovered in recent centuries, than all the other centuries of mankind combined.   Yet during the recent explosion of knowledge and technology wars and genocide of man is more fierce than ever before.   In other words we are far from solving our basic problems.    We find in the Bible there are two kinds of wisdom.   The wisdom given by God,  the other is the wisdom of the world.   The wisdom that is from God is;  pure,  peaceable,  gentle,  willing to yield,  full of mercy and good fruits,  without partiality and without hypocrisy.        James   3:17      The wisdom of the world: excludes God along with His moral standards for human decisions and seeks to solve its problems apart from God.   Where has it gotten us? In turmoil to say the least.   Which kind of wisdom will you choose for your life?

When I was a small lad I went to church with my father and mother, along with my brothers and sisters. Attending church was a little different then than now. We walked the two miles to church and back and only attended  services once a month due to the fact the minister pastured three other churches in the surrounding communities during the month. A little different than today's church but the message the pastor preached hasn't changed.  On a far away hill stood an ole rugged cross where Christ died for  the sins of the world He's still the Savior of the whole world today no matter what church you attend or how you get there. His love for the world will never change.
Just to be tender, just to be true,
Just to be glad the whole day through,
Just to be merciful, just to be mild,
Just to be trustful as a child,
Just to be gentle and kind and sweet,
Just to be helpful with willing feet,
Just to let love be our daily key,
That is God's will for you and me.

Probably the greatest spiritual, psychological and medical need that anyone has is the need for hope.  Hope is a medicine that can cure nearly anything.  When our hope dies despair can overwhelm us.  Hope is pshchologically and biologically vital to us.   There is no differance between men and women we each must have hope and the greatest source of hope that can be found is in Christ.  He alone gives us hope for the present as well as for the future.  Is He your source of hope?   Your heart can rest in His hope.        Psalm  16.9

When a person comes in contact with God, he or she will never be the same again.  This divine spirit either draws you in or it drives you away.  Save's you,or destroys you, helps you, or it hinders you.  Accepted and utilized His spirit becomes a blessing, rejected it becomes a curse.  On the cross next to the Savior a theif was drawn to His spirit and was saved; a second theif turned away and rejected His spirit and was lost forever.  God can take the weak and make them strong, He can take the vilest and make them clean.  He can take the sinful and make them pure.   It is most certain you will never be the same once you know christ.  Do you know Him today?  Which of the above examples will you make in your life when His spirit speaks to you?            EZE.    11:19

During His earthly life Christ was constantly exposed to personal criticism and rejection.  Even in His own  home town people there turned on Him.  Religious folks and political leaders argued with Him and even conspired to kill Him.  Even though He was guiltless, He was denounced as an enemy of God and man and not worthly to live. How did Christ handle criticism ?  First He didn't tone down His message.  Second He didn't stop what He was doing.  Third He didn't loose courage or shrink from what He knew was Gods will for His life.  Only one thing mattered to Him full filling Gods will.  Christ is the best example any one can have on how to handle criticism.  Are you using His example in your life? If so then you will be pleased to know criticism can be managed.               Isaiah  53:3

In the world we live in today, there are more pressures on the home than ever before. Many feel guilty about leaving their children in the care of others while they work, others feel guilty because their work places demand more of their attention leaving them with little quality time to spent with their family's.  Is it any wonder  that so many homes are in trouble. Every material goal we have even if met will pass away, but the heritage of children and a happy home are timeless, they are benifits from God. He is honored when He is the center of our family. The demands on our family life will always be there, but they will be less stressful  if we allow Him to direct our lives, because children are a gift from God and they are His reward and formula for a happy home.
Psalms   127: 3

Why will people go astray when they have this blessed Book to guide them?” – Michael Faraday
“If all the great books of the world were given life and were brought together in convention, the moment the Bible entered, the other books would fall on their faces as the gods of Philistia fell when the ark of God was brought into their presence in the temple of Dagon.” – Isaac Newton
“There’s a big difference between the books that men make and the Book that makes men.” – Unknown
“What a Book!  Vast and wide as the world, rooted in the abysses of creation and towering up behind the blue secrets of Heaven – sunset and sunrise, promise and fulfillment, birth and death, the whole drama of humanity all in this Book!” – Heinrich Hein
“To what shall we compare it?  It is as though one man entered a Cathedral and struck a note on the great organ and left.  Thirty-nine other men at different periods did the same.  If we were to gather these notes together, are we to suppose that there is a means of preservation, which will make up the great work Handel’s Messiah?  Should we say it just happened?  No.  We would be justified in believing that some great mind had supervised it.”  - Charles Feinberg, Ph.D.

God Can Move Your Mountain

When things seem so impossible
And life’s so hard to bear,
God can move your mountain
Before you reach despair
He’ll never leave you or forsake you-
Trust in Him always.
Be anxious then, for nothing
And never cease to pray.

                             So keep on climbing higher,
Be patient while you wait.
For God is never early
And also never late.

Job. 2-3        And the Lord said unto satan, hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an up-right man one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?  And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him to destroy him with out cause.       Now that is true commitment,  Job had lost his health, his children and his fortune, but Job didn't curse God or let go of Him, because he trusted God to do the right thing for him.  Unwavering commitment  is a cornerstone of unwavering faith, it is easy to let circumstances dictate our emotions when times are tough or hardship comes our way, puts us to looking for an escape, but fortunatly we have Gods written promises to help us hold on and that alone can make us victorous in our most intence struggles. If Job could hold on to God in such a time of trouble, guess what so can we. " I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me. Philippians 4: 12-14    When you're at the end of your rope and trouble over takes you, tie a knot in the rope and hold on, God will rescue you.

"What if Heaven isn't real after all?"        "Is Jesus The one and only way to Heaven?"   "Will it really matter at the end of my life how I lived it?"   Many before us have wanted to know, where they could find satisfying answers for such questions as these? We can search "Fine Arts" "History" "Math"  and other books with out much success our  most
diligent search will take us to the "Bible" Where the answers are to be found.        (Question   # One:) What if Heaven isn't real after all?  Acts 7 48-50   Howbeit the most high dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool; what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things.  ( Question  # Two: ) Is Jesus the one and only way to God?    John 14: 6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father but by me.    Acts 4: 12   Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name given under Heaven given amoung men, whereby we must be saved.       ( Question  #  Three: )  Will it really matter at the end of my life how i lived it?    John 17: 20-26      Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall beleive on me through their word; That they all may be one: as thou, Father art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may beleive that thou hast sent me And the glory which thou gavest me,I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou has sent me and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundations of the world. O Righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love where with thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.                         "FROM THE WORDS OF OUR LORD"

Many people today, say there is no such thing as absolute "Truth." From the philosophers around the world the word goes out that "Truth" is only what you want it to be and what is "Truth" for you isn't necessarily "Truth" for anyone else. In the Bible Jesus Christ declares, I will tell you the "Truth" He affirms it by saying in (John 14:6) " I am the way, the "Truth" and the life." We must not be misled by the opinions of others. God has revealed His "Truth" to us Himself, in His written word THE HOLY BIBLE and because Jesus Christ  said He is the absolute "Truth." We can depend on His word of asurity, for the answer to what is truth. Do you trust his definition or mans?

When trials come we sometimes act as if God is on vacation, we question God: Why is this happening to me? What did i do to deserve this? Why am i going thru this difficult circumstance? Whats wrong God? But if we read the scriptures and look for the answers we find Jesus said "In the world you will have tribulatoins" He didn't say that you could have tribulations or that if you aren't a good person, tribulation will come your way. Jesus flatly stated you will have tribulations. It is as certain as growing older.  Jesus said in John 16:33   You will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. If we have Jesus in our heart we can overcome the tribulations of the world also.

You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  James   4: 14    Some years ago some one asked me what had been my biggest surprise in life. with out  hesitation I replied    "The brevity of life"  Almost before we realize it the years have passed by and life is almost over. The shortness of life should also comfort us, because before us is eternity.  When suffering overwhelm us or difficulties asail, we know they will soon be over.  We shouldn't live this life as if it will continue for ever.  "It won't."  We should live instead with eternity in view, for the things which are seen in life today are "Temporary".

I have only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can't refuse it.
Didn't seek it, didn't choose it.
But it's up to me
to use it.
I must suffer if I lose it.
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute,
but eternity is in it.

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

                             Ecclesiastes 3; 1-8

For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Sometimes our way lies in the sunshine, sometimes our way leads through dark shadows, of loss, disappointments and sorrow. It's then we need a truly good friend to walk with us.  With Christ as our friend we find a hahit we can not break, is breakable, an emotion that defeats you is defeated, attitudes that seperate us from others is changed, a heart that is filled with doubt, discouragement or fear, is healed. With Him even sorrow turns to blessings."WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS"    Is he your friend today?  He will be your friend if you ask Him.

Some years ago some one gave a little girl a dollar. She took it to her father and said  "Father will you keep this for me" but in a little while she came back and said thanks for keeping my dollar father "But I'd better keep my own dollar" She tucked it in her pocket and went out to play. In a little while she came back with tears in her eyes saying "Father I lost my dollar can you help me find it" How often we commit our burdens to the Lord and then fail to trust Him, by taking matters into our own hands. Then when we have messed things up, we pray "Oh Lord help me I'm in trouble" The choice is yours. Do you want to tust your life in Gods "Pocket" Or keep it in your own? The Bible promise is true. "Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust."

Summer season brings
Colors to the face of earth
As season's birds sings
Summer season is
Warmest of all the seasons
Weaving dreams of bliss
Season of summer
Fills heart and soul with laughter
Like blooming flower
Summer brings shimmer
By benevolence of nature
In beams of glimmer
Summer's arrival
Signals fun and festivals
And soul's revival
Summer is warmer
Shining brighter is the sun
Solace is water
Summer's diverse sounds
Is the nature's symphony
Without doubt astounds
Summer is the best
To feel the comfort of breeze
Which needs no attest
Summer is the peak
For the soul of sun to shine
And it is unique
Summer is for fun
Soaking in sweat and water
And is never done
Summer holidays
Sprinkles delight everywhere
In so many ways
Summer is the time
To think of spring and autumn
As it is sublime

Pride cuts us off from God and from other people and decives us into thinking, we can do God's work alone, with out God's power.  God is at work in our lives, even when evil seems to be winning.  God is at work in the mist of our problems and frustration's, that's why we can trust him, even when the way seem's dark. "I will work a work in your day's which you would not believe, though it were told you"  (Hab. 1.5)

God took the fragrance of a flower...
The majesty of a tree...
The gentleness of morning dew...
The calm of a quiet sea...
The beauty of the twilight hour...
The soul of a starry night...
The laughter of a rippling brook...
The grace of a bird in flight...
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through

He called it simply – Mother.
